Will Townsend, Forbes contributor and Moor Insights & Strategy senior analyst covering wireless telecommunications and enterprise networking, posed a great question, Does T-Mobile Have What It Takes To Attack The Enterprise?
As 5G networks start to be built out, this will be a question all of us must think about. Personally, I feel a lot of the recent changes in pricing and data allowance, UNLIMITED - or so its called, are thanks to T-Mobile shaking up the wireless industry.
Knowing the future is 5G, T-Mobile was very aggressive with acquiring new spectrum for the upcoming fifth-generation broadband cellular network.
Remembering the issues from Verizon's 4G launch, from being inside of the belly of the beast, I wouldn't be too quick to switch networks. I'm sure that better premier practices will be in order... but it won't hurt to give these networks a year or two to iron out any possible kinks.
Do all of your research on the soon to come "5G Ready" devices. I loved my HTC T-Mobile G1... but Verizon's first 4G smartphone, HTC ThunderBolt was full of issues.
